Chargrill Charlie's, New Farm

Full fitout of an existing tenancy to deliver Chargrill Charlie's Queensland debut restaurant. Works included demolition and tenancy preparation, in-house hydraulic design, full commercial kitchen with rotisserie systems and refrigeration infrastructure, mechanical ventilation, custom joinery, front-of-house service counter, architectural finishes, and back-of-house operational zones.

The project required precise integration of a high-performance commercial kitchen, rotisserie equipment, and refrigeration systems within an existing tenancy where hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical services had to align exactly with operational workflow. The active New Farm retail precinct added access and delivery constraints. A fixed opening date tied to the brand's Queensland launch left no flexibility on the construction timeline.

Hydraulic design was managed in-house so water services, drainage, and trade waste integrated cleanly with the kitchen layout from the start. Equipment suppliers and specialist installers were engaged early to align infrastructure with operational requirements before trades mobilised. Daily site management coordinated concurrent trades across front-of-house and back-of-house areas while protecting completed finishes throughout the build.

The restaurant was completed on program and opened on schedule as Chargrill Charlie's first Queensland location. The completed venue combines a high-performance commercial kitchen with a welcoming customer environment featuring detailed finishes, custom joinery, and architectural lighting in the heart of the New Farm dining precinct.
