Wendy’s, Brisbane CBD

Full internal demolition and fitout of an existing CBD tenancy to deliver Wendy's flagship Australian restaurant. Works included structural alterations, new hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical infrastructure, commercial kitchen installation, custom joinery, architectural finishes across multiple levels, and full shopfront and facade works.

The project required significant structural alterations within an occupied CBD building including slab penetrations, new voids, and stair access modifications. Coordinating extensive services infrastructure for a high-volume commercial kitchen alongside detailed architectural finishes demanded precise trade sequencing. The program was fixed against the brand's Australian market launch date with no flexibility on the opening timeline.

Services and kitchen infrastructure were planned around the restaurant layout during pre-construction so trades could be sequenced without conflict. Structural works, services installation, and finishing trades were programmed to run in a controlled sequence rather than reactively managed on site. A dedicated site leader managed daily coordination across multiple trades and specialist installers to maintain program momentum.

The flagship restaurant was handed over on program and opened as the brand's first Australian location. The completed space combines a high-performance commercial kitchen with a multi-level themed dining environment in the heart of Brisbane CBD.
